National Assessment Report 2007

The National Assessment Program – Civics and Citizenship Years 6 & 10 Report 2007 was released by the Ministerial Council on Education, Employment, Training and Youth Affairs in February 2009. The National Assessment Program (NAP) tests students’ competencies in the area of civics and citizenship education against the Key Performance Measures at Years 6 and 10. The sample included 7,059 Year 6 students from 349 schools, and 5,506 Year 10 students from 269 schools. The report contains an executive summary, and a breakdown of results by State and Territory
